**NEW**   AGT-Bunyip IA  (AGTB0530)

AGT

AGT-Bunyip IA is the first variety to combine tolerance to both IMI and quizalofop-P-ethyl (Aggressor) herbicides.  AGT-Bunyip IA offers high yields and wide adaptation, in a plant type similar to Maximus CL

AGT-Bunyip IA has entered the malt accreditation process.

**NEW**   Rocket  CL    (IGB22023T)

InterGrain – potential Malt Classification

Rocket CL is a quick maturing IMI tolerant with outstanding yield potential, ideal for lower rainfall regions and late sowing windows.  It offers strong resistance to net form of net blotch (NFNB) rated MRMS-MSp, and improved lodging tolerance and head retention compared to Commodus CL and Beast.  Rocket CL boasts excellent physical grain quality and is currently undergoing malt accreditation, with the earliest possible approval expected by March 2028.

**NEW**   Ember   (IGB21130)

InterGrain – Feed Variety Classification

Ember is a slow maturing spring feed barley with excellent yield potential, well suited to high rainfall zones.  It is 7-10 days slower to mature than Neo CL and RGT Planet and suited for early sowing opportunities and to help manage frost risk.  It has a shorter plant height than RGT Planet.  Ember has a good disease resistance profile including useful levels of resistance to scald (MRMS), leaf rust (MRMS), powdery mildew (MRMS) and NFNB (MRMS-MSS).

**NEW**   Kirwan  CL   (IGB22014T)

InterGrain – Feed Variety Classification

Kirwan CL is an acid tolerant IMI tolerant barley ideally suited to acidic, high aluminium soils in Western Australia.  It is broadly adapted and suitable for tough conditions, out-yielding Buff and Litmus.  Kirwan CL has an intermediate growth habit and a good disease resistance to net form of net blotch (MR-MSp), powdery mildew (MRMSp) and scald (MRMSp).  However it is susceptible to spot form of net blotch (Sp).

PegasusAX

AGT – Feed Variety Classification, Quick-mid Maturity

PegasusAX is a quick-mid similar to Rosalind/Maximus CL  CoAXium® feed option suited to low-medium rainfall areas.  Being a derivative of Rosalind  with a similar plant type, it offers a shorter plant structure and lower risk of lodging than the Compass prostrate plant types as per Titan AX .

Bigfoot CL

AGT – Feed Variety Classification – Quick-mid Maturity

Bigfoot CL is a quick-mid similar to Commodus CL  Clearfield® feed option suited to low-medium rainfall areas.  It’s AGT’s first Clearfield barley offering.  It’s a unique plant type, that can be seen as a compact Commodus CL.  This is a competitive but shorter plant type, with lower risk of lodging.  Its grain yield is a significant improvement over Commodus CL.

Granite CL

InterGrain - Feed quality Classification – Quick-mid Spring Maturity

Granite CL is a new quick-mid Clearfield® feed barley suited to low-medium rainfall areas of Western Australia.  The variety has shown excellent yield potential, yielding 6% higher than Rosalind  (InterGrain 2019-2023 national long-term MET).  Quick maturing, similar to Rosalind  and Maximus CL.     Good disease resistance profile including excellent resistance to net form net blotch, spot form net blotch and resistance to CCN.  Erect growth habit and medium plant height, similar to Rosalind  and Maximus CL.  Strong lodging tolerance and low head loss risk.  Good physical grain qualities including good grain size and test weight, similar to Rosalind.

RGT Atlantis
RAGT

A world first waterlogging tolerant quick-mid maturing barley.  It is suited to medium to high rainfall regions where transient waterlogging occurs.  It is agronomically similar to RGT Planet, with improved net blotch resistance.  It is quick to establish and produces high early biomass for excellent weed competition.  Good straw strength.  Under evaluation for malt accreditation with Grains Australia.

Neo CL

InterGrain - Malt variety Classification, Mid-slow Maturity

Exceptionally high yielding, offering 10% yield improvement over RGT Planet , (Intergrain and NVT data).  Mid-slow maturing, malt accredited, Clearfield® barley.  Outstanding disease resistance package including excellent resistance to cereal cyst nematode, powdery mildew and the spot form of net blotch, and useful resistance to the net form of net blotch and leaf scald.   Ideally suited to medium-high rainfall environments.

A semi-prostrate early growth habit and a medium plant height.  Good head retention and good tolerance to lodging and head loss.  Good grain quality attributes, including high levels of grain plumpness, substantially superior to RGT Planet.
